Karamveer (Ayushmann Khurrana) is gifted with mimicry skills and this special quality helps him to find a job at the call center. Karamveer special talent of imitating female voice becomes his advantage at his workplace and he is promoted with a car, increase in the paycheck, etc. When everything is going fine due to some unexpected situations Karamveer decides to quit his job. Ayushmann Khurrana is increasing his popularity giving tough competition to his contemporaries with the selection of some unique scripts and Dream Girl is one of them. The way Ayushmann shifts gears from Karamveer to Pooja and vice versa is a delight to watch on screen. His comedy timing is improving with every film and he even excels in the romantic track with heroines, emotional part with his father, supporting his best friend, finally finding a solution to his problems in the character he played on screen.
Nushrat Bharucha is a charmer and she spelled her magic yet again with her performance as well as with her beauty. Finally, Manjot Singh has got the role where he was given more screen time and he was good in the best pal role of the hero giving some comic relief. Vijay Raaz is one the entertainers with his Shayari in the film.
Rajesh Sharma got a small role and he justifies the grey shade in the movie. Nidhi Bisht, Raj Bhansali, and Abhishek Banerjee did justice to the roles they have played. Annu Kapoor has nailed it with his comedy timing, especially his episodes in the second half are hilarious.
